But not everything that glitters is gold. Though seen by the common citizen as a symbol of greed and gluttony, the people that reside there see it as a gilded cage. Cold, unloving, greedy, and where people are always eager to hear the newest gossip and scandals. People will jump at the chance to destroy your reputation and gain power.
The Palace is a dangerous place. Where privacy is non-existent and any secret who have will definitely get out. Where the treat of a revolution is constant.
